Carroll, Lewis (pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson)
(18321898) - English novelist, poet, photographer, and
mathematician, best known for his fantastical childrens’ classics.
He was a mathematical lecturer at Oxford.
Through the Looking-Glass (1872) - The sequel to “Alice in
Wonderland.” Alice climbs through a mirror and discovers that the
world is totally reversed like the mirror’s reflection. The ballad
“Jabberwocky” is included in this book. Sir John Tenniel drew the
classic illustrations.
